26 September 2009 - 8am till 13:00 The Robberg ExpressEvent organizers Magnetic South are in their third year of organizing The Robberg Express. This event has been a valuable addition to Bitou Tourism’s Plett Festival – 18 – 26 September 2009 and has certainly brought some of South Africa’s top athletes to the stunning playground of Plettenberg Bay. The event has been developed into somewhat of a multisport cult event and journey- the cycle starting in Harkerville and traversing some of SA’s best known MTB routes, a spectacular trail run around Cape Nature’s Robberg Peninsula and a circular route sea paddle in the Robberg Bay. The event will take place on Saturday 26th September with registration happening on Friday afternoon at Gilly’s Grill on the 25th. With 2008 seeing numbers almost doubling, 2009 will be no exception as we expect numbers to grow to 200. We are also very excited to announce that Hi Tec and Helly Hansen will be coming on board for 2009 as product sponsors.
