Dis winter en Bok van Blerk het net die ding om die ergste koue te verdryf. Hy's oppad George toe met sy warm Winter-Wyntoer en hierdie gaan `n Bok wees wat min mense nog gesien het. "Die winter vra vir lekker kuiers met `n glasie wyn in die hand voor `n kaggelvuur," sê hy. "Hiedie konsert is anders as my ander konserte. Daar gaan `n paar verskillende musikante saam met my op die verhoog wees en hoewel ons al die grootste treffers gaan speel, gaan hierdie `n baie meer intieme konsert wees" vertel hy.

Bok van Blerk by Kalahari Restaurant en Teater op George

Op George by die Kalahari Restaurant en Teater gaan Peter Mitchell, die Kaapse sanger en musikant, op Vrydag 22 Julie die verhoog met Bok van Blerk deel en die konsert gaan nie net uit musiek bestaan nie, maar ook `n goeie skeut komedie hê.

"Ons gaan stories en grappe vertel en hoop dat ons mense die koue gaan laat weg lag," sê Bok. Omdat Bok altyd met sy volle orkes optree, is dit nie altyd moontlik om in kleiner venues op te tree nie. Aanhangers sal egter ook die kans om Bok van Blerk te sien soos nog nooit tevore nie.
"Die konsert gaan dus `n lekker kuieraand wees en `n goeie geleentheid vir my wees om mense van nader te leer ken. Ek sien uit na die winter op die oop pad" het hy gesê.
