Vodashop George Cheese Festival

The 8th annual Vodashop George Cheese Festival will take place from 10 to 13 June at the Outeniqua Primary School. This year the organizers decided to host the festival during the school holidays to accommodation festival goers.

The festivities kick off on Thursday 10 June with a live music in the Millers Attorneys Entertainment Tent.

Cheese and wine exhibitors

From Friday festival goers can look forward to visiting the 78 cheese and wine exhibitors at the Vodashop George Cheese Festival to taste and purchase their products.

Garden Route Crafters

This year 20 crafters of the Garden Route will also display and make their unique items available to visitors.

As always the Vodashop George Cheese Festival creates the opportunity to introduce the public to our countries food, wine, brandy, port and this year for the first time the whiskey industries glamour personalities!

The 2010 Vodashop George Cheese Festival is an event not to be missed!

George Cheese Festival – Care Concert on 6 June 2010

George Cheese Festival Care Concert

The George Cheese Festival will be hosting the annual Care Concert with the gospel sounds of Riana Nel and Wian Vos on 6 June at the Outeniqua Primary School.

Outeniqua Country Hop Strawberry Festival – 25 & 26 September

The Outeniqua Country Hop Strawberry Festival is taking place at Redberry Farm on 25 and 26 September. This is a fun filled festival where many stalls and events offer plenty of entertainment and tasty delights and where strawberry decadence is the order of the day.

There will be live music, a beer Garden, fine local wines and cheeses, pony rides, tractor rides, a jumping castle, lots of strawberry eating and pie eating competitions and much, much more during the course of the day to keep everyone entertained

The Cossack Stunt Academy riders will thrill festinos with awesome acrobatic tricks on horseback on Friday evening and during the day on Saturday. Run Walk for Life will host a 5km walk around the farm starting at 8am on Saturday morning.
