The Breede River is one of the largest, most navigable rivers in South Africa. You are able to cruise for about 30 km to the river mouth and about 10 km upstream with the Houseboats. The House Boats are ideal for self catering holidays in the Garden Route, and offers a fully fitted kitchen with a fridge, gas stove with oven and a scullery. A sliding door separates the fore cabin from the main area, providing privacy and an undisturbed sleep to those who need to go to bed earlier. In the fore cabin is a double bed, as well as a single bed. The table arrangement in the main cabin folds down to form the second double bed. Guest on the house boats may sleep anywhere they choose within the designated overnight limits of the Breede River - simply lower the anchor and make sure it is secured.The boats are only hired as follow with no exceptions.
