5 to 6 December 2008 – Sevens Rugby

George in the Western Cape of South Africa will host the 10th anniversary
of the Emirates Airlines South Africa Rugby Sevens from 5th to the 6th of December 2008.

The event is the second on the 2008/09 international schedule,
taking place a week after the season-opening Dubai Sevens.

The tournament features 16 teams, including the hosts, South Africa, and the previous season’s Series Champions, New Zealand. The Kiwis are also the defending George champions.
