International Museum Day – 18th of May

Good news for all Museum lovers! The 18th of May has been declared as International Museum Day.
The theme for this year is “Museums as Agents of Social Change and Development.”
The George Museum will running a Museum Week starting on the 12th of May until the 16th. Fir this they are planning an exhibit about Tacoma, George’s twin-city situated in the .
The George Museum invites all learners and members of the public to come along and enjoy a guided tour through the Museum.

Whale Watching in Plettenberg Bay


The first Southern Right Whales have been seen along the Plettenberg Bay coast line.
These wonders of the ocean can be seen from the land but for a live changing experience you can join one of the Whale Watching companies in Plettenberg Bay who will take you on a boat trip where you can get as close as 50 meters from these mammals.
