Wildebraam Berry Estate - Swellendam

Visit the Wildebraam Berry Estate, situated in the Hermitage Valley about 1.5km outside Swellendam, where you will be warmly welcomed in the beautiful Hermitage Valley and overwhelmed by the gastronomic delights! The berry types they farm with include Blackberries and Youngberries. The private cellar produces a range of delicious liqueurs including Youngberry, Honey, Aniseed, Rooibos, Peppermint, Lemon and Hazelnut. In addition, the farm kitchen produces a tempting array of liqueured fruits, jams, dessert syrups, chutneys, relishes, pickles and gifts which can all be sampled and purchased in the infamous "tasting room".The products are elegantly packaged and service the corporate gift market through a range of stylish gifts. From mid November to end December it is berry picking time and you can pick your own berries! Light refreshments as well as picnic baskets (which must be booked in advance) are available.
