Chandelier Game Lodge & Ostrich Show Farm is located just 7km from the Klein Karoo town of Oudtshoorn. The farm is easily accessible, next to the N12 (Route 62), and is an ideal base from which to explore the Garden Route as well as the Klein Karoo and Route 62

A unique feature of Chandelier is the luxury en suite tented accommodation offering a unique bush experience in the Oudtshoorn area. The tented chalets are placed on wooden decks in the bush and great care has been taken to assure privacy and unique views.

Game viewing is an unforgettable experience at Chandelier! Chandelier hosts 24 species on the 3500ha reserve near Ousthoorn. Spot the majestic leopard, or Sable Antelope, Kudu, Waterbuck, Lechwe, Bontebok or the Giraffe during a game drive in a Land Cruiser. Quad bike safaris are also offered for game drives.


Sundowner Bush Dinner at Chandelier Game Lodge
The ‘Sundowner bush dinner’ at Chandelier Game Lodge, starts 1 hour before sunset, with a late afternoon game drive to the mountain "lapa". Here guests are spoilt on sundowners and a variety of snacks, against the backdrop of an exquisite sunset over the Swartberg Mountain range. The three course “bush dinner” consists of a variety of snacks, as well as ostrich, venison/game – (like kudu & springbok), chicken and vegetables. Trained guides lead the star gazing of the Southern Hemisphere skies.Coffee and traditional ‘koeksisters’ will be the final farewell before we go on a night game drive with spotlights. Trained rangers know the hiding spots of the game and will escort you on an unforgettable night drive to view the behaviors of the ‘creatures of the night’.
