De Vette Mossel - open until end of April 2009

If you have missed out on the amazing experience of dining at De Vette Mossel during the December holiday you still have time until the end of April 2009 to visit this Beach Seafood Restaurant!

Kick off your shoes on a pristine and isolated beach at South African’s favourite holiday town, Mossel Bay in the Garden Route. Sip some wine, gaze over the ocean and indulged in seafood in abundance!

Eat as much as you like – or can! De Vette Mossel (The Fat Mussel) offers much more than perfectly prepared seafood – this is an experience – in unusual and informal surroundings with traditional Cape fishing culture – in true West Coast Style. Literally on the beach.

Our menu consist of 9 courses which are prepared and presented one after the other. Of each you may eat as much as you like – or can! But this is not as easy as it sounds…. The majority of the courses is prepared in full view on open fires in front of you – this guarantees off–the-grid-fresh seafood – as it ought to be.
During school holidays (December/January and March/April) De Vette Mossel has two eating sessions per day, but during the off season only during weekends: Saturday and Sunday.
